HOW DO WE ASSESS
COMPANIES?

In the 2023 edition of the Asia Cage-Free Tracker, Sinergia Animal conducted a survey to gather information on the progress of 65 companies.

For companies that have global policies, we asked them to report numbers specifically in Asia.

The companies featured in the report are those that announced a

cage-free policy prior to 2022 and operated in at least one of the five countries assessed: Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, and Japan. Companies that achieved a 100% transition to cage-free prior to 2021 were not included in this assessment.

Please note that this ranking only reflects the period during which companies reported their progress. Any updates published by companies after July 31, 2023 may not be reflected in this ranking. For the most up-to-date information, please refer to the latest publications and announcements of the respective companies.
